When many of us think of cauliflower, we think of a bland and boring addition to a veggie platter. However, cauliflower is a powerful, hormone-balancing food, packed with vitamins C and K. Believe it or not, there are many ways to incorporate it into your meals. Here are just a few:
Roasted Cauliflower: Cut cauliflower into florets, toss them in olive oil, sprinkle with spices like salt, pepper, and cumin, and roast in the oven until golden brown. This brings out a delicious nutty flavor.
Cauliflower Rice: Pulse cauliflower florets in a food processor until they resemble rice grains. Sauté the cauliflower rice with some garlic and olive oil, and use it as a low-carb substitute for regular rice in stir-fries, fried rice, or grain bowls.
Cauliflower Mash: Boil cauliflower until tender, then mash it with a potato masher or blend it in a food processor. Add a little bit of grass fed butter or olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a healthier alternative to mashed potatoes.
Cauliflower Pizza Crust: Blend cauliflower florets in a food processor, then squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel. Mix the cauliflower “rice” with pasture-raised eggs, organic cheese, and herbs, and shape it into a crust. Bake it until crispy, then top with your favorite pizza toppings.

Cauliflower Steaks: Slice cauliflower into thick slices to create “steaks.” Brush them with olive oil, sprinkle with seasoning, and grill or roast until tender. Serve them as a flavorful and nutritious main course.
Cauliflower Soup: Cook cauliflower florets with organic vegetable broth, onions, and garlic until tender. Blend the mixture until smooth, and season with herbs and spices. You can add a splash of organic cream or coconut milk for added creaminess.
Cauliflower Buffalo Wings: Toss cauliflower florets in a mixture of hot sauce (Primal Kitchen is my favorite!) and melted grass fed butter or olive oil. Bake them until crispy, and serve them with a side of Greek yogurt or Primal Kitchen ranch dip.
Cauliflower Tacos: Roast cauliflower florets with spices like chili powder and cumin, and use them as a filling for tacos. Top with salsa, avocado, and a squeeze of lime juice for a delicious and healthy taco option.
Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce: Steam cauliflower florets, then blend with organic milk or stock until creamy. Serve over whole grain noodles, or try zucchini noodles!
Remember, cauliflower is a versatile vegetable that can be substituted for higher-calorie ingredients in many recipes. Get creative and experiment with different cooking methods and flavor combinations to discover new and exciting ways to enjoy cauliflower.
